The IW-85KD is a heavy-duty dual-operator K-Series ironworker designed for intensive fabrication work. Its dual-operator configuration allows separate machine functions to be operated more efficiently, helping improve productivity when punching and shearing tasks are performed regularly.
The 85-ton punching station provides a generous 410 mm throat depth and can punch Ø27 mm holes through 22 mm mild steel or Ø50 mm holes through 12 mm material. The angle shearing station delivers 110 tons of shearing force and handles angles up to 130 × 130 × 12 mm at 90°.
Additional standard capabilities include flat-bar shearing up to 406 × 17 mm, round-bar shearing up to Ø45 mm, square-bar shearing up to 45 × 45 mm and rectangular notching up to 63.5 × 90 × 12 mm.
A wide range of optional tooling is available for channel and I-beam shearing, V-notching, large V-notching, press-brake work, angle bending and pipe notching. The machine includes a hydraulic shear hold-down as standard.
