The RAIS System T250 CNC Slant Bed Lathe is a high-performance turning center designed to meet the productivity and precision requirements of modern manufacturing industries. Combining robust machine construction with advanced spindle technology and precision motion systems, the T250 provides outstanding stability during both high-speed finishing operations and heavy-duty machining.

Its rigid 45-degree slant bed is manufactured from premium Meehanite cast iron, stress relieved to eliminate deformation and maximize structural rigidity. This heavy-duty construction minimizes vibration, improves chip evacuation, and ensures exceptional machining accuracy throughout long production cycles. High-strength hardened guideways and low-resistance machine geometry further enhance cutting performance while extending machine life.

The machine is equipped with a high-precision spindle supported by Class P4 NN-type roller bearings and thrust bearings, allowing outstanding radial and axial load capacity while maintaining excellent rotational accuracy. Combined with preloaded precision ball screws featuring low thermal expansion, the T250 delivers superior positioning accuracy, repeatability, and smooth axis movement for demanding machining applications.

The hydraulic chucking system and programmable hydraulic tailstock provide secure workpiece clamping and excellent support for long components, making the machine suitable for a wide variety of turning operations. Available CNC control options include Fanuc, Fanuc 32i, Siemens 828D, and Siemens 840D, allowing easy integration into both existing and advanced automated production environments.

To further increase manufacturing flexibility, the T250 can be equipped with numerous optional accessories, including a 12-station driven turret with C-axis, Y-axis capability, automatic tool presetter, high-pressure coolant system, bar feeder interface, part catcher, and additional workholding options.
